Client satisfaction is the most important aspect of The Abbott Clinic’s work, knowing that she has been able to successfully enhance or change the way a woman looks and feels for the better.

Permanent cosmetics are a new and exciting treatment which enhance facial features such as eyes, brows and lips. Think of make-up applied by a top make-up artist, it will last for a day. Now imagine it can last for years. This is the promise of perfectly applied permanent makeup.

Most women may not care to admit it, but nearly all feel better with a little make-up on. Even so, that doesn’t mean we can always be bothered, have the time or talent to apply it properly, or take it off thoroughly enough to avoid waking up with smudged panda eyes.

With all the demands of modern living, longer working hours and a feeling of constantly ‘juggling’ our busy lifestyles, wouldn’t it be nice to have one less thing to worry about? Permanent makeup eliminates the insecurities of facial flaws as well as giving clients the confidence to look their best at all times.

Convenient and low maintenance; just permanent colour where it is needed to create a natural new look for eyes, brows and lips.

Permanent cosmetics are an advanced form of cosmetic tattooing that uses hypo allergenic mineral pigments which are applied into the dermal layer of the skin. This results in a wonderful shadow of colour that looks like perfectly applied makeup.

The real benefit of permanent cosmetics is that they are ideal for anyone who wants to look and feel great without having to spend hours in front of the mirror. As well as saving valuable time, they also enhance your features, and enable you to look your best at all times, naturally and beautifully.

Perfect and defined eyebrows:
Eyebrows bring character to a woman’s face. Well shaped ‘natural looking’ eyebrows can lift and refresh the eyes, giving a more youthful appearance.
Brows tend to sag as we age, and every day about 70% of women struggle to create a natural looking eyebrow using an eyebrow pencil; this is why eyebrows are the most requested procedure.

Natural hair stroke brows:
this is an effective treatment to create as natural-looking eyebrow as possible by using a 3D hair stroke technique that mimics the look of real hair. Alternatively the powdered brow effect creates a soft pencilled look, giving the appearance of make-up with a soft haze of colour.

Eyeliner and Lash Enhancement:
From subtle to dramatic; emphasise your eyes making them look bigger and enhancing eye colour. Choose from a subtle, natural looking lash enhancement effect, which gives the illusion of fuller lashes. Alternatively eyeliner will define the eye with a soft and natural look, or a bold and dramatic effect. Eyes look fresh, alive and rejuvenated.

Sensual and attractive lips
Creating the ‘perfect pair of lips’ is one of the most desired treatments to create definition, lift and fullness. Lip line – lips can be made fuller, colour enhanced and shape corrected. Natural or defined; guaranteed to perfect the shape of the mouth. Lip blush uses soft shades to give a haze of colour across the lips, or a dramatic colour can be applied to create a more striking look. Lip blush defines the outline of the mouth; the colour is then shaded and feathered into the centre of the lip. Lips that have lost definition through the ageing process can be corrected and shape redefined with naturally beautiful effects.

A detailed consultation is carried out, during which each client will receive an individual analysis, taking into account their skin tone, hair and eye colour. Personal preferences regarding shape and colour are discussed, and what the client would like to achieve from the end result. Before treatment, The Abbott Clinic uses make-up to give an impression of the final look. The procedure is between one and a half to two hours long. A follow-up treatment is advised four to six weeks later to ensure a perfect finish. This is included in the initial cost.

There may be slight swelling and redness, which usually disappears within half an hour after the procedure. Lips can feel dry for up to five days after the procedure. Initially the colour in the areas treated may appear darker and more intense where the pigment has been applied (up to 30% darker), but this will fade within three to seven days as the skin naturally exfoliates. The true colour will be seen around four weeks after the procedure.

The use of a sun block is essential; the longer you spend in the sun, the quicker the pigment fades. After 12-18 months a colour boost is recommended to refresh your procedure.

Bookings; Please note that all bookings for this service are taken by the Abbott Clinic and are carried out at the Abbott Clinic.
